Why Story?

Because everything in marketing comes back to it...in one way or another.

Effective marketing campaigns often begin with a story. And with today’s audience, authentic, natural, and genuine storytelling can help your customers relate to your service, product, and brand.

In our work, there are two main storylines (see examples above):

  1. Your customer’s – to be interested, they need to see how your service or product fits into their brand
  2. Yours – once they are aware of you, they need to know, like, and trust you

Why Now?

Three reasons:

  1. The uncertainty in business right now is making us nervous, and we know that our peers are in the same boat
  2. We have a service that can actually really help small businesses
  3. Community is one of our Points of Culture. And the best way we can help is with our cameras

So we thought of a way to help make an impact at this particular point in time.

By helping those who help our peers, our work will have the greatest impact

We want to work with a business association that wants to elevate how they can promote their members, and is open to us becoming service members in exchange for this free marketing content.

Small Businesses

You might be eligible if:

  • You are worried about the impact of tariffs and the current uncertainty on your client base (that is, you have all your eggs in one or two baskets)
  • Your annual revenue is around $1.5M or less
  • You’ve been thinking about storytelling visual content for a while.

So How Are We Helping?

From a free brand story shoot given to one association that will help many, to amazing pricing on a couple of other options, we are doing what we can to get some great content to businesses in need.

1. One Free Brand Story For A Business Association

To one worthy association that will maximize the net positive impact our work can provide

We’d like to work with associations who:

  • Are already doing great work actively promoting the businesses they represent, and want to do more
  • Are open to having us as a ‘partner’ or ‘supplier member’ in exchange for this work
  • Would like to be able to provide their members with special ‘member rates’ on any work those members hire us for!

2. One Targeted Media Package Extreme Credit Giveaway

We are giving away $5000 in credit towards one of our Targeted Media Packages, valued at around $12,000, to one deserving applicant.

We’d like to work with a business that:

  • Wants to build brand story-telling into their lead generation and brand awareness strategy
  • Is looking to create a library of great content for many months to come
  • Has some budget and wants to get the most bang for their buck

3. Tariff -25 Brand Story Credits

In light of the oft-cited '25%' tariffs, we're providing a 25% credit towards any of our brand story products for 6 to 7 business applicants.

We’re booking out Brand Story shoots in July and August, and we’d love to work with businesses who:

  • Could use a little savings in these uncertain times, to help them diversify their client base
  • Have heard of the amazing impact of using story in their marketing, lead generation, and sales
  • Haven’t had quite the budget to get these professionally done, or wish the budget they did have could go just a little further

Conditions

Yes, there is some fine print :-)

  • These will be shot primarily in July and August 2025.  There may be some flexibility on this on a case by case basis.
  • We’ll require more than our usual turnaround time – we operate at pretty slim profit margins for the work we do, and these eat into this.  So to take care of our business we have to make sure to leave the time for doing other work.
  • We can only book 6 Tariff -25 brand story shoots in July and August.  If you are open to waiting a bit longer, we can book you in now for a later date, for a limited number of clients, on a case by case basis.
